What to expect:

The position will be based in YAMADA Consulting & Spire’s (Y&S... office in Singapore. The responsibilities include:
• Collaborating with the Y&S team and global clients to project manage trade events across the Asia Pacific region
• Developing strategies to optimize lead generation through these events
• Overseeing the day-to-day planning of trade events, including the development of event concepts, themes, and marketing materials
• Managing the on-site execution of events, including setup, registration, coordination of activities, troubleshooting, and guiding junior team members
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and external stakeholders
• Evaluating event performance and providing recommendations for improvement based on attendee feedback and industry best practices
• Creating and delivering comprehensive reports to clients, detailing event outcomes and results

What we require:

The successful candidate should have the following attributes:
• Keen interest and 1-3 years of experience in fields such as Marketing, Events / Wedding Planning or Hospitality industries
• Strong organisational and negotiation skills, good general business knowledge, and ability to communicate with people
• Self-starter, outgoing and people-oriented
• Effective in meeting deadlines
• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality or other relevant fields
• Excellent command of English and the ability to work on Microsoft Office applications
• Singapore citizen or permanent resident
• Exposure to or experience in planning and executing trade-related events and/or emerging technologies to enhance event experiences is a plus
