Coverage Banker – Digital & Consumer (m/f/d)

Key Duties
• Acquisition of medium and large corporate clients andbe the face in the market for ABN AMRO CorporateBanking Germany
• Manages a client portfolio which is aimed at realizingthe (financial) goals of the client, the agreed financialand commercial objectives of the bank and increasedclient satisfaction
• Awareness of in- and external... developments related tothe positioning of the Corporate & Institutional Client(CIC) franchise and its clients
• Gives input on business- and annual plans, in-line withthe vison and strategy of CIC
• Focuses on the most efficient realisation of thecommercial opportunities for the clients by providingthe appropriate products and services with the aim tobuild a long-term, trustful client relationship
• Monitors the progress and quality of the Client ServiceTeams by using the applicable CRM system to ensureall client conversations are reported and progress canbe measured in the deal pipeline
• Proactively introduces the different products andservices of Corporate Banking with a focus on feerelated business within the set commercial objectives
• Proactively introduces potential prospects for privatebanking to the Wealth Managers
• Keeps himself/herself fully informed of alldevelopments in the sector and uses this knowledgetowards internal and external parties to expand thenetwork and to present himself/herself and the bank asan authority in his/her area of expertise
• Maintains a strong network to product partners andstakeholders internally and invests time in building andmaintaining contacts outside the bank
• Is responsible for signaling and implementing possiblestructural improvements in several complex(administrative) processes within his/her field
• Ensures cost control, on the basis of the planning &control system, in order to remain within the allocatedbudget
Your profile
• Academic level of knowledge / experience including aninnovative way of thinking
• At least 10 years’ experience in a relevant setting orCIC environment
• Profound relevant industry knowledge and existingnetwork in the Food and Retail sector
• Self-starter with strong commercial drive and theproven ability to actively originate business andmanage multidisciplinary teams based on a clearunderstanding of clients and the commercialopportunities
• Ability to entertain a strategic funding driven dialogue with clients and prospects at Treasury and CFO/CEOlevel
• Profound knowledge of the Corporate and InvestmentBanking product suite and preferablyworkingexperience in either Corporate Lending/LeverageFinance, Capital Markets (ECM, DCM) or Mergers &Acquisitions
• Knowledge of current social and economicdevelopments, the regional network and developmentsin its market area, industry and sector data,competition and banking products tailored forCorporate Clients as well as the international market
• Knowledge of ABN AMRO's vision and strategy,especially by Corporate Banking, the operatingconcepts, business processes, organization, productsand services
• Fluent English and German skills, written and spoken
