What will you do?

The simple mission of Presales at Zendesk is “To Ensure Solution Selection”. Our role is to enthuse our prospects about the capabilities of our solution, and in doing so, demonstrate that Zendesk is the optimal solution to meet their business, functional and technical requirements.

Of course, we are also sales people, trusted advisors, technical gurus, domain experts, value consultants, challengers and thought leaders. Oh, and we are expert at juggling lots of balls, balancing learning with doing, and having fun.

As a senior member of the Presales team, the Senior Solution Consultant is the bridge between Zendesk’s Commercial sales representatives and our prospective customers. The Senior SC is responsible for understanding our customers’ complex business requirements... mapping those to the Zendesk suite of software solution offerings, and delivering solution demonstrations that illustrate their business value.

In this role, you’ll support our French sales team, partnering with Account Executives to lead the extended team throughout the pre-sales cycle, providing deep product and CX industry knowledge to ensure the successful execution of our sales strategy. As such, Senior SCs will be curious, creative thinkers and problem solvers who are domain experts, technically astute and commercially focused.

Your Background
• You have deep experience of working with Mid-Market customers in a client-facing commercial role, where you provide creative, outside-the-box solutions to complex business challenges.
• You have excellent interpersonal, communication, persuasion, presentation and writing skills.
• You have a passion for telling engaging stories that both demonstrate our product’s value and bring our solution to life.
• You have experience of SaaS applications, Solution Architectures, and their supporting technologies
• You are agile, with a love of thinking on your feet and a knack of steering conversations involving a range of different stakeholders, from Agents to the C-Suite.
• You have run sales cycles from RFI and RFPs through to managing Pilots and Proof of Concepts.
• You love working in a dynamic environment where flexibility and agility are essential.
• We mix our time between home, customer sites and the office - you’ll thrive with this variety
• You are fluent in French and English
• 4+ years of Mid-Market software pre-sales experience.

Even Better...
• Experience in customer service, customer contact centers, customer service software, ITSM, data warehousing, business intelligence.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle PaaS etc
• Experience in web/ scripting technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SaaS applications
