Our client, a leading provider of electrical solutions in the Cape Town area, is seeking a motivated and results-oriented individual to join their growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical solutions and customer needs, maximizing sales opportunities and fostering long-term client relationships.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Become a technical expert: Gain an in-depth understanding of your assigned product lines and their applications within the electrical industry.
• Master the art of communication: Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations to engage customers and present solutions that address their specific needs.
• Consult with confidence: Engage in technical discussions with clients and engineers to identify equipment requirements and system specifications.
• Teamwork makes the dream work: Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer demands and provide... insightful technical support throughout the sales cycle.
• Close the deal: Secure new orders, negotiate effectively, and drive sales growth through strategic customer relationship management.
• Innovation is key: Be proactive in identifying opportunities to modify existing products or develop new ones based on evolving customer needs.
• Problem-solving pro: Assist clients in troubleshooting issues with installed equipment and recommend solutions that optimize performance and efficiency.
• Future-focused: Contribute to the research and development of new products and solutions that anticipate market trends and customer demands.

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or an Electrical Trade qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of technical work experience within an Electrical/Engineering environment.
• Proven sales experience and a track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Experience with technical presentations and sales software is a plus.
