The Role

Working closely with the small team of Directors, you will hit the ground running with a variety of hands-on day to day tasks. Never a day the same, you will be challenged by interesting and varied tasks to keep you busy. Working with two experienced, loyal, and dedicated Bookkeepers, you will be an integral part of the organisation’s success.

Some Of The Responsibilities Will Include
• Financial month end reporting for 4 separate entities (P&L, Balance Sheet etc)
• Bank and GL reconciliations
• BAS, GST for multiple entities
• Oversee payroll for approximately 150 contractors
• Payroll Tax, superannuation and workcover... calculations and payments
• Assisting with the FBT returns
• Liaise with external accountants for year end reporting and tax schedules
• Reconciling inter company accounts
• Preparation of sales reports and commission calculations
• Cashflow forecasting
• Oversee of AP and AR
• Ad hoc reporting for business owners

The Person

You will thrive if you can adapt to daily demands, where no two are the same. Fast paced and thinking on your feet is essential. You must pride yourself on getting results and the best outcomes for the business. You will ideally understand a small/medium sized entrepreneurial business, but bring the structure and discipline of a big organisation with you. Must be a whizz in Excel. MYOB would also be advantageous.
