Reporting to the Group Technical Accountant, within our changing finance organisation.

With the... recent change from public to private ownership, we are building a future-fit Group Finance function to assure the evolution of our business under the ownership of our private equity parent, Bain Capital.
This is a crucial role accountable for the financial reporting of the Group's holding companies and treasury entities.

Role Description- Coordinate with subsidiary companies and treasury department to support financial reporting process of inter-company funding, cash pooling, and cash repatriation.- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for holding companies and treasury entities, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.- Supporting the group reporting and local statutory reporting requirements of the Kantar Group's holding companies, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company law.- Liaise with the audit team and advisors on scope, goals, and timing.- Lead and ensure compliance with internal review control for accounting transactions and perform the necessary procedures and documentation.- Support the monthly consolidation process ensuring accurate, efficient and timely reporting of group results; supervise and ensure adherence to timetable by business divisions.- Support the periodic (monthly, quarterly and annual) external financial reporting processes to produce the annual statutory accounts and reporting to private equity owners, investors, and lenders.- Responsible for the reconciliation of key balances and preparation of supporting schedules for group reporting.- Support the external and internal audit processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient process and implementation of audit findings and recommendations.- Provide support on accounting policy and other technical accounting matters.- Lead or support ad hoc Group Finance related projects as required.

Role Requirements & Capabilities- Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).- Good knowledge of IFRS, and understanding of Dutch GAAP, UK GAAP and LUX GAAP would be desirable.- Audit training and industry exposure would be a plus.- Top level Excel skills. Proficient English (written and spoken).
