$90,200 - $98,600 plus 11% super

Salary increases scheduled for July 2024, with new salary range of $93,000 - $102,000 plus 11.5% super

What You Will Be Working On

As a... Systems Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of driving change and innovation, making a real difference to our organisation and community. Responsible for providing BAU support and enhancement to City's business systems portfolio. This includes engaging with internal stakeholders and external vendors, managing service requests, configuring systems, and driving process improvements to ensure optimal system performance and alignment with organisational objectives.

Your days will include;
• Utilising SQL queries to perform database operations and data analysis, including data uploads and report extraction.
• Proactively troubleshooting and conducting root cause analysis to resolve issues efficiently.
• Facilitating the handover of new functionalities, services, and processes from development to support teams.
• Conducting regular system refreshes and upgrades to ensure system reliability and security.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and developing new processes to enhance efficiency and reduce ticket volume.
• Developing and maintaining internal knowledge base articles to facilitate user support and training initiatives.

About You

To thrive in this role, you should possess:
• Tertiary qualification in Information Systems/Computer Science or equivalent experience in corporate application support and business analysis.
• Proven Government or similar experience
• Proficiency in various languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript/Node.js, T-SQL, Python, and HTML.
• Demonstrated experience in analysing and optimizing business processes.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in software development and testing frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organisation.
