We are recruiting for a Faculty Administrator/Office Manager to join our Games & Animation Faculty.

Faculty Administrators ensure the smooth running of the Faculty alongside the Programme Directors and are a crucial member of the team. The FA facilitates the delivery of the course by, amongst other things, ensuring that timetabling is organised, managing student communications and ensuring that assignments are properly administered. Faculty... Administrators often cater for more than one course, meaning peak times can be very busy. This job carries quite a lot of responsibility and the ability to use initiative is essential. The role will also encompass duties related to office and campus management and you will work closely alongside the Operations Manager in this regard.

Responsibility / Activity

· Process student enrolment and registration

· Assist with timetabling and lab scheduling

· Arrange student projects and placements with external partners when required

· Support the teaching of the course by preparing documents, materials and labs

· Support the Programme Directors in a variety of ways

· Support visiting lecturers

· Provide secretarial and administrative support to other staff members

· Manage Google Classroom activity and notifications

· Administer Student Emails

· Support examination marking and record student grades

· Prepare for and attend annual Prep Boards and Exam Boards

· Arrange QQI Validation events

· Inventory management

· Liaise with the Operations Manager regarding office & campus management & maintenance

· Attend and assist the planning of College open days and other promotional events

· Ability to work independently & use initiative

· Ability to work to strict deadlines

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Able to work with others as part of a team

· IT skills, particularly related to MS Office
