The Customer Services division of Siemens Chile Digital Industries, has an exciting opportunity for an 3-5 year Field Service Engineer to provide services for our extensive product range which includes industrial automation, control systems, manufacturing execution systems, safety systems, industrial instrumentation, cybersecurity, communication solutions, drive system and digital services.Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, the Field Service Engineer will be required to carry out day to day activities including, field service, engineering, technical support and sales... assistance principally with our clients across Chile. The responsibilities in this role are activities relating to troubleshooting, routine maintenance, installation/commissioning, upgrades of Siemens Drives and Automation Products.**In order to be considered for this role you will need to possess the following**:- Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree with 3-5 year of experience in the Automation and Drive Industry and hold a current Driver's License.- Experience in Automation systems, Drive systems and Cranes- 3-5 years of experience with commissioning / troubleshooting Siemens variable speed drives (VSDs), Siemens PLC systems and PCS7 Automation Systems.- 3-5 years of experience in maintenance of Siemens PLC systems, PCS7 and variable speed drives (VSDs) would also be an advantage.- Basic experience in Data analysis, Artificial Intelligence, Data Bases, Predictive Maintenance, Digital Twin would also be an advantage.- Ability and willingness for frequent travel local, interstate and overseas where required, including remote sites.- Experience in customer remote support and on-site breakdown assistance.- Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels- Proven ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision- Verbal and written communications skills.- Team work ability.- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.- Customer service oriented, who able to maintain regular contact with sales support teams and management from a distance.In addition, this role is also responsible for:- Providing timely completion of service reports- Complying with all safety and health Siemens policies, service escalation procedures, customer contractual obligations and quality standards- Ensuring customer satisfaction- Supporting the Sales team for service offerings- Supporting Project Team- Intermediate English language level
