Our client is a top-notch banking firm who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their team:
• Act as the primary liaison between bank management and the Board of Directors
• Ensure comprehensive identification, measurement, monitoring, and control of the bank's credit, interest rate, liquidity, operational, compliance, strategic, and reputational risks
• Align risk management with strategic goal setting and business planning
• Review third-party independent risk assessments, such as external loan reviews, compliance reports, regulatory examination reports, and stress test results
• Ensure compliance of policies and procedures with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements
• Provide clear guidance and supervision on strategic goals and their achievements, communicating them across departments and defining performance metrics
• Contribute to departmental strategy development by offering insights for enhancing risk management policies and procedures
• Manage... and establish processes for assessing, identifying, monitoring, and mitigating business risks, while optimizing efficiency
• Develop and implement risk management systems, processes, and personnel infrastructure to support the bank's growth objectives and regulatory compliance responsibilities
• Direct employees in executing the risk-based plan for internal reviews, compliance reviews, loan reviews, internal audits, and fraud investigations
• Engage in timely and relevant communication with management regarding emerging issues
• Ensure the confidentiality of all company records and information
• Stay updated on policies and procedures, including completing all required training promptly
• Assist with additional duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or related experience
• Experience with risk management and/or compliance within the financial industry or similar regulatory experience
• Knowledge of banking policies, procedures and regulations
• Demonstrated leadership ability with excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate in all areas
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent judgment, decision-making and problem solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Experience in managing staff
• English proficiency in accordance with the bank’s policy
