Job Purpose
• To lead, manage, coach and develop a team through effective coaching and support to ensure proper HCP interactions in a defined area, as well as ensuring proper implementation of the sales and marketing strategies.
• Implement the territory plan, monitor progress and adjust to ensure success.
• Guide the team to conduct all business activities as per plan and drive the team to deliver outstanding performance.

Education, Experience & Skills
• Bachelors or Master degree in Medical Science Graduate, Pharm D, MBBS
• Minimum 5 years of prior experience with proven performance track record with Vaccines/Specialty experience would be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and lead team to execute the business plan and implement business strategies to meet assigned objectives.
• Lead and manage therapeutic area to achieve sales target with all targeted customers according to the brand strategy.
• Recruit... hire and retain qualified representatives. Prepare all required paperwork and administrative procedures to support hiring activities.
• Monitor progress in meeting established objectives.
• Ensure optimum coverage of current and potential customers.
• Provide adequate training, coaching, follow-up and development of sales representatives in all phases of their work including career development.
• Ensure that representatives understand marketing strategies and thoroughly communicate balanced product information.
• Plan and conduct sales meetings to inform, train, and motivate representatives.
• Maintain oversight of relevant matters including company business, policy and procedures.
• Ensure effective distribution of products in the assigned area including adequate stocking and adequate coverage of all distribution channels.
• Utilize staff as consultants in coordinating large programs, e.g., symposia, speakers’ bureau.
• Maintain positive working environment for the team; collaborative team work and inspiring culture.
• Lead high performance team (through proper performance management)
• Develop the team capabilities in terms of knowledge and skills through effective coaching.
• Enrich GSK intellectual capital through identification, development and retention of talents. (in coordination with HR team)
• Position GSK as a partner of choice for Key External Experts in the defined area (through patient focus and high standard disease & product knowledge)
• Ensure his /her team job is conducted in alignment with GSK values, Policies and SOP’s.
