An exciting opportunity has arisen to manage all the Archives and Exhibits services of Nottinghamshire Police.

This is a full-time role generally working Monday to Friday office hours, but does involve potential for call-out on weekday nights and evenings and weekends.

The ideal candidate will have experience of managing a police Archives and Exhibits environment, having a good understanding of what is required to balance evidencing prosecutions against the risks of storing certain types of evidence.

It will be your responsibility to ensure an optimal Archives & Exhibits service enables Nottinghamshire Police to meet its pledge to fight crime, keep communities safe and protect vulnerable people.

You will need to ensure that the department complies with all appropriate legislation, policies and procedure and have a good managerial understanding of Health & Safety and have experience in leading people in this area.

You will define, monitor and review a robust performance framework... to drive improvements to the quality of criminal investigations and ensure that service is sustainable within demand and capacity limits.
