Our Sr. Consultant full-time-contract role will see you unlock trapped value and uncover deep perspectives on the energy and lubricant industry value chain for our clients. In this role, you will find yourself engaging in client discussions to solve complex business problems, analyze key issues, and develop effective solutions.

As an Energy consultant supporting our Latin America clients, you will combine strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset with real-world perspectives driven by an understanding of client issues and broader marketplace drivers.

You will be presented... with the opportunity to connect and collaborate across our global network of Knowledge Analysts along with our Industries and Service Lines business network to further strengthen the quality of your insights.

Our Consultants work closely with the Energy Managers/ Directors to support client and other senior stakeholders, providing thought-provoking insights to help Kline's clients proactively identify new business opportunities and risks.

Over time, you will develop expertise in a specific area and drive research and development of new knowledge as well as contribute to broader knowledge development and proprietary assets.

Additionally, you will contribute as an active member of the global energy community and develop relationships around the globe to build on your knowledge and provide support to the broader network as needed.

Key aspects of this role include:
• Engaging with client teams and Kline leaders to provide commercial and provocative perspectives on the issues, challenges and opportunities facing our clients in the industry.
• Cocreating insights beyond publicly available information, interacting with industry members and external networks to build proprietary data sets and evidence for differentiated points of view.
• Providing strong insights using various data analytic/ modelling techniques to uncover meaningful insights for our client.
• Build solid analysis and insights for client engagements, utilizing secondary and primary research methodologies research.
• Leading/contributing to delivery of strategic and complex projects, often working virtually across teams in different geographies.
• Participate in client meetings, round tables and other external events/conferences to strengthen Kline's presence and reputation in the market.
• Collaborates with colleagues to proactively alert stakeholders regarding changes among key clients and competitors and assesses the impact of those changes on internal strategies and plans.
• Acts as a role model within Kline, championing the use of Kline knowhow, methodologies and positively influencing change by leading by example; championing knowledgesharing behaviors; connecting people; encouraging enterprisewide sharing; and appropriately leveraging and reusing existing collateral.
• Good entrepreneurial skills, be autonomous and a selfstarter.

Key Requirements:

Education:

MBA/Master's degree or postgraduate qualification preferable

Bachelor's degree and applicable relevant work experience can also be considered

Experience:
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in strategy, business analysis, industry research, management consulting or business performance, advising organizations in the energy industry
• Strong experience of conducting comprehensive secondary (public and paid databases) and primary research on various industries, macro developments and regions,
lubricant experience a huge plus:
• Data Modelling and financial modelling proficiency required. Comfortable working with huge datasets and proficient with financial analysis and modelling
• Possess deep understanding of the applicable domain, strong analytical skills and the ability to develop a point of view.
• Capable of putting individual projects/initiatives into a "big picture" context and credible experience working in a fastmoving, clientcentric environment.
• Proficient in English with wellstructured oral and written communications skills; able to explain difficult concepts in a clear, concise and graphicrich style, using appropriate analytics and visualization tools.
• Ability to take ownership for delivering customized projects with certain degree of autonomy
• Knowledge of data analytics / visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc. and statistical (including forecasting) techniques such as PCA, regression, cluster analysis, etc. would be a plus
