Focusing on Sports and Casino, the Social Media Manager will be at the forefront of the Dutch social media strategy, creating market-specific plans, tailoring content for the Netherlands, and driving initiatives to meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs).

Ideally, you will have experience gained working with a gaming/entertainment brand either on the client or agency side, planning scalable content for social media and digital channels in compliant markets.

This role requires a resourceful, creative, and passionate person who can harness their direct experience in managing social media channels and digital campaigns.

You must have excellent creative, written, and communication skills, with the ability to create, plan, and prioritize. The ideal candidate will be flexible and self-motivated while being able to multitask and be adaptable.

A positive, strategic, and problem-solving attitude, enthusiasm, and the ability to drive creativity are essential for this role. Within... this role, you will support coordinating the overall strategic focus of the digital content at a local level, including all visuals, videography, copywriting, and campaign content.

You will have had experience commissioning, negotiating, and working with a broad range of creators and influencers. You will be able to think big with ideas but also be a stickler for detail and execution.

The ideal candidate will be an expert in the digital and social media content space, with tested sound judgment and a healthy sense of pragmatism about how to quickly implement creative campaigns and content. Someone who is up-to-date with the latest industry developments, trends, and best practices within digital and social media marketing.

• Native speaker of the Dutch language with an excellent understanding of cultural attitudes, social truths, and news at a local level.
• Strong copywriting and planning skills with attention to detail.
• Understanding of Digital and Social Media content best practices and how to implement them.
• Experience translating and localizing content from English to Dutch.
• Creative thinker, articulate, and persuasive, able to communicate operational initiatives and outcomes effectively.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with multiple business units and local markets.
• Ability to think outside the box and create and execute innovative social media and PR campaigns.
• Analyze data and metrics to measure social media campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly.

Skills & Experience:
• A proven track record of creating and executing successful social media campaigns.
• Native Dutch language skills & fluency in English.
• Knowledge of the Dutch sporting and cultural world.
• Ability to design and edit social multimedia content.
• Experience with social media management tools – e.g., Sprinklr, Sprout, etc.
• Use of creative tools, Adobe Photoshop/Express, etc.
• Data analysis and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Excellent time and self-management abilities.
• An understanding of the betting industry would be beneficial but not essential.
