Job Description Summary

Supports the Director of Regulatory and Master of Professional
Nursing Program by facilitating activities to meet all regulatory
and accreditation compliance requirements for the School of
Nursing's academic programs. Staff liaison to the School of Nursing
Entry to Practice, Master's and PhD Curriculum Committees and
Graduate Group to manage committee processes and identify/follow-up
on curricular changes with regulatory and accreditation
implications. Supports special projects determined by the Associate
Dean for Academic Affairs and Director of Regulatory and Master of
Professional Nursing Program. Maintains and assures timely updates
of all regulatory and accreditation information for the School of
Nursing website, and clear and complete documentation of all
regulatory and accreditation actions and processes.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities
• Supports the Director of Regulatory and and Master of
Professional Nursing Program by facilitating activities to meet all
regulatory and accreditation compliance requirements for the School
of Nursing's academic programs:
• Gathers data and supports deliverable preparation for
activities to meet all regulatory and accreditation compliance
requirements for the School of Nursing's academic programs.
• Collaborates with appropriate departments/offices/key
individuals to garner all information needed to complete regulatory
and accreditation reports and processes, including, Admissions,
Data Analytics, Office of Faculty Affairs, Department Directors,
Registrar, and others as needed.
• Maintains data collection and organization of NCLEX and APRN
specialty certifications pass rates.
• Maintains data collection for specified regulatory elements for
school of nursing website and other communication where regulatory
and accreditation information is reported and disseminated.
• Audits regulatory related media for accuracy and provides
updated information if any changes are made (i.e. School of Nursing
website, Student Handbooks, etc.).
• Assists with updating and maintaining specific out-of-state
regulatory program requirements for academic programs.
• Assists with out-of-state clinical approval application and
maintenance process with out-of-state Boards of Nursing. Supports
any preparation of out-of-state authorization materials for various
State Boards of Education.
• Supports timely submission and follow up with all reports or
regulatory/compliance needs.
• Supports daily regulatory/accreditation operations. Provides
logistical and operational support to the Associate Dean for
Academic Programs and Director of Regulatory and Master of
Professional Nursing Program.
• Collaborates with the Director of Regulatory and Master of
Professional Nursing Program on evaluation of regulatory processes
and assists with creating and implementing innovative processes for
improvement.
• Coordinates regulatory affairs and accreditation internal and
external communication to appropriate
individuals/departments/stakeholders.
• Assists with organizing and maintenance of central repository
of all regulatory and accreditation related correspondences,
reports, and data.
• Learns and uses specific data entry platforms needed for
regulatory and accreditation reporting (i.e., PALS PA State Board
of Nursing, CCNE).
• Staff liaison to the School of Nursing Entry to Practice,
Master's and PhD Curriculum Committees and Graduate Group to manage
committee processes and identify curricular changes with regulatory
and accreditation implications:
• Partners with each Committee Chair to manage committee's
process and facilitate meetings.
• Assists with setting meeting schedule, distributing meeting
invitations, and confirming membership for each academic year.
• Prepares committee agendas, attends meetings, manages meeting
procedures (actions/votes, timely discussion, etc.), records
minutes, assembles minutes and posts meeting materials.
• Collaborates with Committee Chair/leadership and Faculty Senate
staff liaison to organize and submit motions to present to Faculty
Senate, for applicable committees.
• Notes and confirms all actions brought to the committee and
motions approved with the Director of Regulatory and Master of
Professional Nursing Program and confirms appropriate documentation
is submitted.
• Records meeting outcomes and confirms committee actions.
• Manages record of all Committee actions and approvals and
ensures documentation is organized, accessible, and accurate.
• Collaborates with Committee Chair/leadership to ensure all
documentation is accurate and saved in appropriate electronic
repository.
• Collaborates with the Director of Regulatory and Master of
Professional Nursing Program to prepare and submit written reports
and mandatory forms/paperwork dictated by University, PA State
Board of Nursing, or accrediting/regulatory bodies to maintain
regulatory compliance based on actionable items and approved
motions of the committee(s).
• Maintains each committee's SharePoint site.
• Organizes and facilitates distribution of all committee
communication in collaboration with Committee
Chair/leadership.
• Provides organizational and informational continuity for the
work of each committee over time and terms of Committee Chair and
members.
• Supports special projects or additional duties as determined
by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and the Director of
Regulatory and Master of Professional Nursing Program

Qualifications
• BA/BS required; 2-3 years of work experience with progressive
responsibility. Strong analytic, organizational, and time/workload
management skills required. Strong interpersonal and customer
service skills required. Results oriented with the ability to
multi-task and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
Strong collaborator, attentive to communication and detail, and
well versed with digital information sharing platforms.

$43,919.00 - $60,000.00 Annual Rate

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications,
experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the
requirements of the position, as well as internal and market
factors and grade profile.
