A snapshot of your key responsibilities as Software Developer in Test would be:
• Provide senior guidance and support to testers coding new automation test developments and/or enhancements to automation test suites.
• Support multiple automation testers and teams.
• Coach and mentor junior testers.
• Apply behavior-driven development practices, style, and standards used when generating functional test scenarios.
• Review design specifications and generate test scenarios for either... functional or non-functional requirements.
• Write and peer review test acceptance criteria.
• Identify data requirements and appropriate scalable data creation or data usage processes.
• Monitor and maintain existing test suites.
• Contribute to and adhere to code quality, testing standards, and best practices.
• Support the designing of automation processes that align with and support Delivery Methodology and governance procedures.
• Assist teams in building robust automation using the most appropriate technologies, languages, tools, and methodologies.
• Ensure appropriate automation tests are identified and implemented for a given project.
• Investigate and manage complex defects in test environments.
• Coordinate or escalate defects (Bugs)/problems.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis and review logs.
• Provide input to governance and status reports.
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Experience training, coaching, and developing team members.
• Strong team-player with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of maximizing team performance in challenging hybrid working environments.
• Interaction experience with testers, application development, and technical colleagues.
• Capacity for structuring information, including planning, organizing, and simplifying.
• Knowledge of taxation processes from registration through to returns filing and payment options.
• Familiarity or experience with Testing tools suitable for IT architecture.
• Substantial industry experience and expert proficiency in technologies and languages such as Java, Spring, Maven, JavaScript, Node, Jenkins, and Containers.
• Skills in SQL/XML/Unix/JSON and associated tools.
• Extensive experience with APIs & Webservices such as REST & SOAP.
• Experience in creating acceptance criteria and expanding automation test suites.
• Proficiency in conducting Test Data preparation & masking.
• Familiarity with delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid), application development lifecycle, and delivery models.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in all aspects of the System Test Life Cycle.
• Experience in providing testing estimates and input to documentation.
• Peer reviewing code changes completed by automation testers.
• Documenting testing processes and results.
• Supporting Development and Test areas utilizing technical tests.
• Application of appropriate continuous testing techniques for the existing architecture.
• Contribution to the improvement of Automation testing processes and procedures.
• Support for team leads in all aspects of their work.
• Development of familiarity with processes within the domain.
• Support for the identification and implementation of continuous service improvements.
• Experience in following and applying Testing Standards and approaches.
• Deep technical skills and extensive knowledge of automation test concepts and tooling.
• Experience providing technical leadership to project resources to meet project deadlines and ensure project objectives are met.
• Experience with various automation frameworks and designs.
• Ability to maintain current knowledge of all relevant technology developments and seek opportunities to deploy new technologies.
