Role Purpose/Business Unit:

Responsible for the overall purpose strategy communication of the Vodacom organisation across all internal and external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Prepare, implement and review the marketing strategy for the overall Vodacom purpose brand, linked to Vodafone global, for South Africa and ensure alignment.
• Setup and manage purpose steerco projects management office
• Develop the foundation, sustainability and external affairs campaign calendar in partnership with the EHODs
• Maintain relationships with the marketing divisions to ensure alignment as well as assist with the training and information sharing
• Analyse & implement performance indicators for purpose metrics, and develop corrective action plans
• Manage agency relationship and performance on purpose & foundation KPI’s
• Update... and maintenance of purpose brand toolkit
• Responsible for the purpose chapter of the marketing academy programme
• Develop and manage marketing campaigns and coordinate with all relevant stakeholders to ensure 360-degree campaign implementation
• Responsible for internal purpose marketing campaign creative & briefs in partnership with internal communication departments, including special projects
• Manage resources (including budget) to ensure successful implementation of the marketing strategy across all teams as well as sharing with key stakeholders both internally and externally;
• Work closely with the marketing agency and manage the relationship and performance;
• Responsible for creative executions on Sustainability and CSI (Vodacom Foundation);
• Track effectiveness of marketing campaigns and report findings and recommendations to the Marketing and Purpose team including CSI (Vodacom Foundation) and Sustainability
• Conduct full post analysis on the effectiveness of Brand Marketing Communications.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
• Matric – Essential
• 3-year degree/diploma in sales or marketing - essential

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:
• Quality management & attention to detail
• Communication Skills (Both verbal and written)
• Experience in managing multiple stakeholder's collaboration
• Decision-Making Skills & stakeholder management.
• Interpersonal skills & customer-centric approach
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience within a Marketing/Brand environment which includes:
• 3 yrs. experience dealing with Brands/Marketing on senior level.
• Campaign management will be advantageous.
• Advertising agency experience would be desirable
