Career Staffing Talent (CST) has partnered with a dynamic and growing construction organization that is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their team and become a key member of their Human Resources team.

As an HR Generalist, you will collaborate with our US and Canada HR Managers to develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that align with the company’s overall... objectives and values.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with our US and Canada HR Managers to develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that align with the company’s overall objectives and values.
• Provide HR support to employees and managers, addressing inquiries and escalating concerns related to HR policies, benefits, and employee relations to HR Manager for direction.
• Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and onboarding of new employees.
• Support employee lifecycle processes including, but not limited to, performance management, promotions, transfers, and separations.
• Assist with compensation and benefits programs.
• Support diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization, promoting a culture of equity and respect.
• Assist in organizing and facilitating training programs on various topics, such as anti-harassment, safety protocols, and professional development.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
• Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that enhance the employee experience and drive continuous improvement.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices, particularly those related to employment, compensation, and workplace safety.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated experience in employee relations.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant HR software applications.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail in managing HR processes.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
