Research Officer in Health Economics and Behavioural Data Analysis

Salary from £40,229 to £48,456 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £52,095pa inclusive of London allowance

This is a fixed term appointment for 2 Years

The Ageing and Health Incentives Unit is seeking to appoint apostdoctoral research position to undertake extensive data and econometric analysis of the effects of physical activity and its incentives on later life outcomes. The job will include working on an externally funded project that focuses on identifying and assessing incentives for healthy lifestyles and produce and disseminate high quality evidence. The candidate should have a PhD in health economics and extensive knowledge of health econometrics and data analysis, expertise on healthy ageing and on the management of large datasets, and some publication experience.

The Research Officer will manage and... execute research projects that examine the later life effects of healthy lifestyles, manage research assistance, present the results at international conferences and internal meetings.

Candidates Should Have
• A PhD in health economics
• Knowledge and research experience on healthy ageing
• Previous experience in working with, and managing administrative or large survey datasets
• Some evidence of publication experience
• Experience in presenting research and organising research events

Ca ndidates from BAME backgrounds will be prioritised.
