We are currently on the look-out for 2 superstars to join our team at Lumino Manawatu Dental.

The Role

Lumino Manawatu Dental have served the community by insuring we provide high class dental care and make sure that every patient feels welcomed.

As one of our Receptionists, you will be the friendly face our patients see when they enter our doors and the voice they hear when they call our practice. A typical day will see you assisting our patients with enquiries, generating and confirming appointment booking, payment processing, banking, and other ad hoc administrative duties.

As one of our Dental Assistants, you will work alongside our highly trained clinicians and other dental professionals to provide excellent patient care and support. You will be tasked with supporting our clinicians during various dental procedures and ensuring best practice standards are upheld, and the best patient care is provided. You... will also take control of tasks such as sterilisation and infection control, ensuring all instruments and equipment are processed and sterilised following best practice guidelines.

This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You will be someone who enjoys working closely within a team and providing upstanding customer service.

The hours for the role are below:
• Monday: 8:30am - 5:30pm
• Tuesday: 8:30am - 5:30pm
• Wednesday: 8:30am - 5:30pm
• Thursday: 8:30am - 5:30pm
• Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm

The Location
• Ease of access to parks and green spaces

• The centralized location of this practice means easy access to shopping malls to run errands at the end of the day

• Greet patients in person and over the phone in a friendly and professional manner
• Respond to Patient emails and queries
• Process payments and book appointments
• Maintain accurate patient records and filing systems
• Assist Clinicians during dental procedures, such as taking X-rays, sterilising instruments, and preparing materials.
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for use
• Stock and order dental supplies

The Person
• Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer-facing role
• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency in using computer software applications.
• Experience with file keeping and data entry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
