About The Opportunity

Programmed’s Facility Management business unit are seeking an experienced Facility Manager to lead our ‘soft services’ facilities management contract for our valued client, Woodside Energy. You will be responsible for the delivery of outstanding on-site catering and cleaning services by fostering team member growth and training, ensuring compliance and adherence to SLAs, all while upholding rigorous standards of health, safety, and hygiene.

Through exceptional facilities management, your key responsibilities will be:
• Lead the catering and cleaning services delivery.
• Understand and negotiate contract terms, resolve issues, and cultivate long-term client relationships.
• Motivate and manage cleaning and catering staff, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped.
• Manage budgets, billing, and stock control, optimizing performance and reporting financial data.
• Ensure adherence to food hygiene, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements, maintaining a safe work environment.
• Enforce company policies, including HSEQ procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Conduct inductions, provide ongoing training, and address staff grievances effectively.
• Ensure adherence to OHS, environmental, and food safety legislation, maintaining records and implementing safety measures.
• Understand and implement emergency response plans, lead by example in safety practices, and promote risk awareness among the team.

About You

To thrive in this role, you will have a broad understanding of FM with a ‘can-do’ attitude, knack for people engagement and a drive for top-notch service delivery. You will have demonstrated experience leading delivery of facilities services, ideally catering and/or cleaning, or experience in a similar service or trade industry. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
• FM or trade/services management experience highly desirable
• Highly developed communication and robust stakeholder engagement ability
• Proactive approach to relationship management
• Excellent time management and priortisation skills
