The Role

Inventia's growth has led to an expansion of our finance team, marking an important development in our business. We are seeking to hire an Assistant Accountant to support this growth and help manage our global financial operations in Australia, the US and Europe. Come and join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving our continued success!

• Global accounts receivable including invoicing and management of overdue accounts
• Accounts payable including entry of supplier invoices and setup of weekly pay runs
• Cash management and bank reconciliations
• Management of the global expense process and travel and expense policy
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Management of the fixed asset process and monthly reconciliation
• Support the Finance Manager in the preparation of payroll and monthly management reporting function
• Support of annual statutory reporting, working with our external auditors
• Preparation of company Business Activity Statements (BAS)

About You
• Accounting / Finance / Business Degree qualified
• Minimum 1 year of commercial experience
• Ideally CA/CPA qualified or working towards an accounting qualification
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with accounting systems, ideally Xero
• Experience in an established organisation having seen what good looks like
• Comfortable working with and implementing new systems and processes
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Hands-on approach
