Job Summary:

The Director of Amazon Brand Department (Remote) is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive brand strategies that enhance Amazon's reputation, strengthen brand equity, and drive business results across all customer touchpoints. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of branding, consumer behavior, and digital marketing trends, capable of leading a remote team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy Development: Develop and... implement a cohesive brand strategy aligned with Amazon's overall vision, values, and business objectives. Lead the development of brand positioning, messaging, and guidelines to ensure consistency across all channels and initiatives, leveraging remote collaboration tools and technologies.

Brand Identity and Design: Oversee the development and evolution of Amazon's visual identity, including logos, typography, color palettes, and brand assets, with the support of remote design teams and external agencies. Ensure brand consistency and relevance in a remote work environment.

Brand Campaign Management: Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated brand campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, traditional advertising, and experiential marketing. Leverage remote project management tools to coordinate campaign activities and monitor performance.

Customer Insights and Research: Utilize market research, consumer insights, and data analytics to inform brand strategy and decision-making, leveraging remote research methodologies and collaboration platforms. Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape to identify remote opportunities for brand differentiation and innovation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product management, retail, operations, and legal to ensure alignment and integration of brand initiatives, leveraging remote communication and collaboration tools. Champion the brand internally, fostering a culture of brand advocacy and awareness in a remote work environment.

Brand Reputation Management: Proactively manage Amazon's brand reputation and perception, monitoring online conversations, reviews, and sentiment with the support of remote monitoring tools. Develop strategies to address brand-related issues and crises effectively, protecting and enhancing Amazon's brand equity even in a remote setting.

Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a remote team of brand professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities through virtual meetings and collaboration platforms. Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability within the Brand Department, despite the remote work environment.


Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

5+ years of experience in Amazon brand management, marketing, or related roles, preferably within e-commerce, technology, or consumer goods industries.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies and campaigns that drive business results, including experience managing remote teams.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate remote cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively in a remote work environment.

Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement, capable of thriving in a remote work environment.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities in a remote work setting
