Bhd., known as FWD TIM, was set up in late 2019 and is part of the FWD Group. FWD TIM in Malaysia is one of the FWD Group’s office locations serving multiple markets within FWD Group and employing team members in various functions including Group Digital & Data, Digital Innovation, the IT Hub and our Centre of Excellence comprising Actuarial, Finance and Product Proposition functions. Purpose To manage and deliver... TIM Program and Project on time and meet business objectives. Steer and supervise different workstreams with various platforms to deliver project on time. Work with senior management on TIM PMO direction and scope based on strategic needs; Influence peers, stakeholders and leaders to make the right decision. Drive technical team to deliver business values planned in the project together with stakeholders and project sponsor. Planning and management of the project including scheduling resources management and change control according to the Company’s policy and guideline. Proactively assess risk and issues; formulate mitigation plans and timely report to management. Host regular meetings with stakeholders including management, peers and vendors. Work Flexible working hours for migration weekend or after-hours support. Perform PMO management. Key accountabilities Evaluate, respond to, and manage Project and program implementation in agile practice. Manage the project budget, cost management according to internal business management rules. Monitor and control execution of projects though Plan, Build and Run processes. Perform project and program reporting (e.g. performance, status) and deliver and socialize project completion documentations. Conduct project evaluations, and share the results with Service Owners and Group Infra Lead. Liaise and communicate with various global and regional stakeholders including Business, IT, Operations, etc. Identify potential project risks and define the right mitigation strategy. Work with senior management on communications, project updates, and escalation. Key performance indicators Support to roll out infrastructure Security, cloud and non-IT projects in all FWD markets. Roll out and manage TIM assigned projects and programs in all FWD markets. Manage variety Department programs and support existing Business Units in accordance to project or program plans and budget. Leadership and drive multiple technical and non-technical team, implementing the project and programs. Perform PMO Governance coach to other Department, improvement of Project and program framework. Assist TIM PMO Head on variety of PMO functions. External & internal contacts Internal Group & TIM mostly department; Group Cloud CoE team; Group Digital, Group Function stakeholders for Group wide Initiations Group Compliance / Risk / IRM / Legal; Group Program Governance Team Country/BU Chief Technology Officer, Chief Operations officer, Business leaders FWD Countries Infrastructure / Service Desk / Security teams; External External Vendors and/or Service Providers. Qualifications / experience Bachelor degree required, preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems. Professional qualification in project management is required (e.g. PMP, PgMP) and Agile (Agile SAFe, Scrum master) At least 8 years of experience in hands-on project and program management experience. At least 3 years in Agile experience. Experience working with regional and global teams. Extensive project management skills in planning, budgeting, tracking, status reporting, stakeholder management, etc. Understanding of various technology platforms across Desktop, Systems, Servers, Data Center, Storage, etc Banking/Insurance experience is preferred. Strong in Non-IT project and program management (eg. HR, Finance,and Share Service) experience is preferred. Preferred working experience in Centre Of Excellent model. At least 2 years of PMO Management is a Must Knowledge & technical skills Sound experience in large-scale system integration project preferred. Strong in the presentation skill. Proven record to manage troubled teams/projects and bring them to success. Strong leadership, communication and vendor management skills. Good supervisory skill, able to drive a project or program team composed of members from different departments. Excellent in problem solving skills. Excellent communication skill. Good stakeholder management. Collaborative and a good team player Our competencies Understand business practices, approaches, organization, politics, and culture. Assess the current TIM Program and project gap to develop, coordinate and implement changes to meet the new requirements. Manage program and projects; planning, prioritizing, and administering work. Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills. Highly accurate and detail oriented. Strong sense of responsibility and eager to learn.
