We are currently seeking an Office Manager to join our dynamic team in Alkmaar and contribute to our continued growth and success.

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Office Manager who can efficiently manage administrative tasks while also assisting with some financial responsibilities. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting our finance team with essential tasks. The new colleague will be working on location in Alkmaar for 32-40 hours a week.

Contribution

Administrative Duties:
• Oversee office operations to ensure efficient daily functioning.
• Coordinate office activities and schedules, including meetings and appointments.
• Manage office... supplies inventory and reorder as needed.
• Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
• Provide administrative support to staff members and executives as incidentally required.
• Basic Finance Tasks:
• Assist with basic financial activities such as invoicing, billing, and accounts receivable/payable.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• In charge of credit control by contacting customers regarding outstanding bills
• Office Maintenance:
• Ensure the office environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Coordinate with external vendors for office repairs and maintenance.
• Implement and oversee office security measures.
• Compliance and Documentation:

o Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.

o Assist with documentation and record-keeping related to regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Qualifications:
• MBO/HBO degree or equivalent
• Proven experience in office management or administrative roles.
• A basic understanding of financial principles and experience with basic financial tasks preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards is a plus.
• Good communication skills in English (written and verbal), Dutch is a pre.
