YOUR ROLE:

As a Charity Manager, you'll be at the forefront of turning our vision into reality. Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees, you'll provide strategic leadership, steer our direction, and ensure that every aspect of our organisation aligns with our overarching goals. You'll inspire and lead a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Strategic Planning: Develop and present comprehensive strategic plans and annual budgets that reflect our organisation's vision and objectives.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and... collaborate with a talented senior management team to drive results and foster a positive working environment.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders, media outlets, and funders to elevate our organisation's profile and impact.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators to track our organisational impact and financial health, ensuring accountability and transparency.
• Representation: Serve as the face of our organisation at external events and in media engagements, effectively communicating our mission and values.
• Risk Management: Stay abreast of external risks and changes that may affect our organisation, proactively mitigating potential challenges.
• Trustee Liaison: Foster a collaborative working relationship with the Board of Trustees, providing regular updates and insights to inform strategic decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Experience working with or in charities, with a proven track record of leadership and impact.
• Experience in designing and implementing innovative services that meet the needs of our community.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a diverse team of staff and volunteers.
• Experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including individuals with learning difficulties.
• Knowledge of relevant sectors such as health, education, and social care, along with experience in financial management and risk strategy.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £47,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 – 37.5 per week
