Clinical Coordinator - Full Time
Doctors’ Center Hospital
Manatí, Puerto Rico

As a full-time, exempt, CPS Solutions, LLC Clinical Coordinator, you will work with the Director and Buyer to control and meet the budget goals; provide follow up to the actual clinical initiatives and programs of the Hospital, as well as initiate new clinical programs according to new guidelines and standards; Provide education to Pharmacy staff, Nursing and Faculty as required; Have active participation with Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and Infectious Control. Clinical jobs and responsibilities will be discussed and implemented with the Director of Pharmacy. Support the Staff Pharmacist with the supervision of technicians, update the Director about daily activities and aid the Director in maintaining the Pharmacy.

Schedule: This position will work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Position may need to cover other shifts in case of emergency including weekdays 12:00PM to... 9:00PM, weekends 7:00AM to 4:00PM and on call.

Facility: Doctors’ Center Hospital is a state-of-the-art 262-bed acute care hospital that offers medical, surgical, intensive care, women’s, and pediatric services. The spacious centralized pharmacy is located on the second floor of the hospital and is currently staffed with 25 pharmacy professionals. The pharmacy is open Monday-Friday from 6:00AM-9:00PM, and Saturday/Sunday/Holidays from 7:00AM-4:00PM. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

Required Qualifications:
• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
• Current Puerto Rico pharmacist license active and in good standing
• Experience as a pharmacist in a hospital setting
• Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
• Ability to work cooperatively with other members of CPS and hospital and pharmacy staff.
• Must speak fluent Spanish
• Must reside in Puerto Rico

Hospital Requirements: (may be required)
• (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
• Hep B3 Series (or declination)
• (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
• COVID Vaccine-Full
