Our EU Engineering team seeks its new colleague, regionally located at our Viared office outside Borås, consisting of around 10 team members.

Overall summery

As our next electrical engineer, you will ensure that Camfil Power Systems fulfills the customers’ requirements and expectations in a cost efficient way within the electrical scope, throughout our project model from sales to delivery. You will contribute securing competence and capacity, to sales, application, engineering, purchasing and installation.

What we offer

Objective in this new role is to ensure our quotations meets requirements and expectations within electrical scope, as well as cost efficient and quality... assured. Based on these, you will support ensuring adequate material is sourced, incl. all necessary documentation. Additionally you will review installations at fabricators and sub-contracted electrical designs – both remotely and on site, in different areas of the world.

This role will report to our European Engineering Director.

What will you do

As part of our international matrix organization, you will together with cross-function working colleagues interact continuously, both locally and globally. You will analyze and optimize our electrical scope, provide improved cost efficiency and/or robust quality, while risk mitigating where/when applicable. Based on incoming specifications you will also support other areas such as purchase, supply chain, sales etc. – evaluating and calculating electrical documents, in relation to requirements.

t will be essential that you understanding our customers different requirements and specifications. Close continuous interaction with different stakeholders, project members and customers will be necessary. We therefore believe you appreciate high speed in an international exciting environment.

We do believe you have minimum BSc within Engineering or equivalent - Master's degree preferred together with minimum 5 years documented successful industrial experience from electrical engineering.

Manufacturing process knowledge is a must combined with international electrical design and installation management. Additionally hazardous area (EX) experience is preferred.

English and Swedish are required on professional level. Finally, having experience from industrial control systems and it’s implementations, will be positively noted as a meritorious.
