We are looking for a Safety Officer to join our team and help ensure the safety of our employees, customers, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting safety inspections, creating and implementing safety policies and procedures, training employees on safety protocols, and investigating any incidents or accidents. The ideal candidate will have a background in safety management and a strong understanding of COR. Working with on site crews for training and complience, completing paperwork, keeping safety binder up to date and completed as needed. Completing safety inspections.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes.
• Provide training on safety topics to employees.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations.
• Develop emergency response plans.
• Monitor and evaluate safety performance.
• Provide advice and... guidance on safety matters.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:
• French not required

Schedule:
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:
• Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:
• West St Paul, MB R2P 0G5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:
• COR safety: 2 years (required)
