π—₯𝗼𝗹𝗲:
β€’ Provide complete electrical / electronic design solutions to improve product performance and reliability including all verification and validation activities.
β€’ Provide coaching and mentoring to other Engineers in the team
β€’ Support initiatives from design through to maturation of product and process. Familiar with Product Lifecycle Management control systems for configuration control.
β€’ Someone who can problem solve to a solution, with a structured analytical approach
β€’ It would be advantageous to have the following experience:
β€’ Proven experience in the design and development of high-quality electrical / electronic solutions in a regulated environment
β€’ Knowledge of computer operating systems; hardware and software
β€’ PCB design knowledge with a good understanding of design concepts and component selection
β€’ Experience of analog and digital circuits from the transducer to the microcontroller input; considering cabling, connectors, signal strength, and noise/interference
β€’... Knowledge of Firmware development (ability to modify current Firmware)
β€’ Knowledge of power electronics, cabling routing and how to integrate into a complex instrument
β€’ Understanding of EMC, Low Voltage & Machinery Directives and other relevant standards
β€’ Micro Controller knowledge (e.g. ARM Cortex)
β€’ Software programming (C, C++)
β€’ Control systems engineering knowledge (Tuning motors, PID control, etc.)
β€’ Good understanding of EMC, and methods to eliminate electronic interference

β€’ Bachelor's degree (QQI level 8) in relevant technical discipline (Electronics / Software / Electrical / Mechatronic)
β€’ 8+ years' relevant engineering experience in a high performing team
β€’ High paced individual who is eager and passionate in developing and delivering solutions in close collaboration with key stakeholders
β€’ Readily accepts ownership, accountability, and responsibility with a proven track record in delivering effective solutions from concept to implementation at pace
β€’ Is a key coach & mentor in supporting the team
β€’ Ability to make informed key decisions to drive the business forward
β€’ An excellent team player who knows how to work in a team environment
β€’ Excellent communications skills - written and verbal skills are required
