The person appointed will be responsible for managing and delivering the assessment programme.

In your role, you will manage a small team, delivering the regulatory assessment programme. This includes information evaluation, risk assessment, evidence gathering, obtaining assurance, and providing regulatory outcomes in line with the regulatory framework.

The Senior Regulatory Manager will play an important role in ensuring our client delivers on its key objectives and regulatory remit. The successful candidate will work with colleagues across the regulator to contribute to the development of the regulatory framework, policy and guidance.


Applicants must, by the closing date of application, possess the following:
• *

A relevant third level qualification (Level 8 of NFQ) or a professional qualification relevant to the role
• Experience of a minimum of 5 years working in at least one of the following areas: regulation, company law, governance, audit, inspection... finance, investigation, enforcement, or compliance. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in Ireland

• *

Demonstrable experience of managing a team and resources under tight deadlines
• Experience of report writing including making recommendations for improvement
• Experience of information evaluation and analysis
• Understanding of the principles of risk-based regulation and regulatory frameworks
• Excellent communication skills.


Experience in other areas such as compliance, legal, governance, finance, housing, risk management, charitable sector or assurance disciplines would be an advantage.

Analytical skills with ability to interrogate data and management information to identify patterns, draw out key themes and findings to support decisions.

Specialist Knowledge
• High level of competency and experience in regulation, audit, inspection, finance, investigation, enforcement or compliance.
