Architecture49 is seeking a Landscape Architect or an Intern Landscape Architect to join our Halifax office.

The philosophy of our design team in Atlantic Canada is rooted in the rich social and cultural mosaic of the east coast. Our architects have a reputation for design excellence that is complemented by our strength in the technical execution of each project. The A49 Atlantic region is well-versed at working within our community impact sectors. • Internal and external collaboration with Landscape Architects, Architects, Engineers and Planners.
• Develop creative technical solutions and prepare visually compelling graphic presentations.
• Assist in the preparation of conceptual design, design development and construction documents including details and specifications.
• Manage multiple projects, budgets and effectively meet deadlines.
• Assist in the preparation of design briefs, cost estimates and technical reports.
• Manage client and stakeholder expectations, consultant coordination, and approvals.
• Ensure project deliverables comply with local standards and contract requirements.
• Assist with contract administration and site inspections.

• Professional Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program or equivalent.
• Member or Associate Member of APALA or eligibility for membership
• Preference given to candidates with knowledge of:
• BIM principles & workflows
• REVIT software
• AutoCAD software
• Civil3D and Rhino
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Microsoft 365 environment
