Primarily responsible for supporting the month-end close process, generating a cost accounting log, translating the annual plant budget to SAP ledgers, and preparing financial and non-financial reports. In addition, support the plant controller with the actual cost system, management and reconciliation of all inventory balances, management reporting and cost improvement reporting.

Meet various end-of-month and year-end reporting requirements, which may include:Report material labor and overhead expenses against the budget by product group.Accurately measure the progress of cost improvement projects on a monthly basis.Analyze results by product group compared to budget and forecast, current month and year-to-date.Operating costs monthly analysis.Review accounting procedures to improve the efficiency of the closing process, month-end analysis andinformation flow to the Operations group managementAnalyze accounting data, draw... sound conclusions, and recommend effective courses of action. Complywith all corporate financial and accounting policies.Prepare clear and concise statements and reports.Know and understand all cost and manufacturing variance reports in SAP.Treat others with tact and persuasion in controversial situations.Explain policies and procedures on a variety of topics related to the operations of an accounting department.Provide daily support to the plant controller, operations manager and other managers within the facility.On a daily/weekly basis ensure that transactions are recorded correctly and costs are accurate.Generate financial and cost accounting journal entries for financial closing and prepare balance reconciliations and link to the floor controller.Prepare and analyze the monthly results to discuss with the plant controller.Work with the plant controller to coordinate the preparation of the annual budget for the site.Enhances growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, training meetings, and workshops.Demonstrate accountability by cooperating with other personnel to achieve department goals and maintaingood employee relations, interdepartmental objectives, and department goals and objectives.Performs other related duties as assigned and requested.Leads and supervises the activities of American payable accounts, costs and fixed assets.Profile


Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance Advanced English (Spoken and written) EXPERIENCE

Cost Accounting +5 years of experience in a plant environment Experience in accounting, cost accounting, and financial analysis Experience in SAP preferred; strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Job Offer
