Position Summary:

The Senior Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and monitoring of both short-term and long-term projects, ensuring the associated deliverables are promptly completed. They will provide comprehensive support to the COO in various aspects of business integration and optimization, ensuring alignment with the broader organizational objectives and strategic priorities. They oversee the entire lifecycle of projects, diligently tracking progress and providing regular reports on status updates. This role involves collaborating with various departments such as technology, operations, and client services, requiring effective communication and coordination with all teams involved.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
• Manage multiple project teams with diverse stakeholder groups and cross-functional integration points.
• Define and develop detailed project plans and prioritize associated tasks.
• Utilize project management tools and best practices to drive project teams towards identifying goals and desired outcomes and charting a path for achieving those goals and associated milestones.
• Manage issues, risks, and changes to timeline, scope/quality, budget, and resources.
• Develop and deliver status reports, requirements, and documentation to project workgroups, senior leadership, and other key stakeholders to enable informed decisions and value achievement.
• Ensure project deliverables are on time and at the required level of quality.
• Establish rapport and team member engagement by modeling a positive team environment/culture of safety, shared goals, and utilizing creative problem-solving and negotiation to reach common ground.
• Develop trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Apply organizational change management tools and processes to support successful communication and adoption of the project’s deliverables.
• Facilitate effective and sustainable transitions to operational owners upon project completion.
• Act as a liaison with various departments and vendors.

Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree or master’s Degree preferred but not required.
• Certified Project Manager required.
• Six-sigma green or black belt preferred but not required.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a project manager where the candidate had responsibility for owning the project plan
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a healthcare or technology setting preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, EMR, Visio, MS Project)
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in the use of technology
