CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking for a Client Systems Analyst for a long term Contract position, remote for Texas residents only. The Client Systems Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the Cash Draw and Expenditure Reporting (CDER) Project, akin to a bespoke Grants Module, by conducting comprehensive computer systems analysis.

Position Summary:

This role involves meticulous planning and analysis of user requirements, procedures, and process automation. The incumbent will bring technical expertise to migrate an existing mainframe system to a PeopleSoft Bolt-on module. They may also provide guidance or oversight to other team members.

Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize standard project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to address project requirements effectively.
• Assist in the development, maintenance, and enforcement of global standards within the client's IT ecosystem.
• Serve as a resource for vendor/contract staff, offering expertise on client-specific standards and templates.
• Conduct Application Design Sessions with stakeholders and IT personnel to delineate system requirements and formulate technical system designs within the PeopleSoft framework.
• Liaise with end-users to ensure proposed technical solutions align seamlessly with business requirements.
• Architect system solutions that not only meet business needs but also align with overarching organizational objectives.
• Prepare intricate and detailed designs encompassing CDER processes, including but not limited to process models, flowcharts, data mapping, and other pertinent systems documentation.
• Develop or assist in developing comprehensive test plans and execute test activities to ensure the efficacy of new programs vis-à-vis business requirements.
• Review documentation and participate in quality assurance activities to ensure adherence to program requirements and procedural standards.
• Aid in diagnosing issues associated with the PeopleSoft Financials application.
• Design and implement integrations between PeopleSoft and other systems within the client's IT infrastructure employing Integration Broker, web services, and other relevant integration technologies.
• Draft detailed specifications to facilitate the development and rectification of the custom module, ensuring adherence to the prescribed process.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and agency laws, rules, policies, and procedures governing the client's IT operations.
• Foster teamwork, effective communication, and promote IT excellence across the organization.
• Maintain a dependable and predictable work schedule, with a willingness to work beyond regular business hours if required to sustain operations or complete urgent assignments.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by the client.

Minimum Requirements:
• Must be a current resident of Texas (preferrably live in the Austin metro area)
• Must hold US Citizenship or Permanent Residetn status per project requirement.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a systems analyst in either a technical or analytical capacity.
• Extensive hands-on experience in the design, implementation, and production support of applications.
• Proficiency in conducting technical PeopleSoft requirements sessions, configuration, testing (including UAT), and assisting in the development of training documentation.
• Demonstrated experience in creating various project documentation, such as system requirement specifications, system design specifications, architectural diagrams, flowcharts, screen prototypes, wireframes, interface specifications, data conversion, process workflows, and database record and field specifications.
• Proficiency in SQL, PeopleTools (including PeopleCode Language/Application Engine, Component Interface, SQR), and experience with SaaS applications.
• Strong business analysis skills with a track record of developing custom PeopleSoft solutions to complex problems.
• 2 years of experience with a Test Tool, such as Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) – Octane (or earlier versions of ALM).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in database management systems (e.g., IBM Data Studio, Squirrel).
• Previous experience as a Programmer, Analyst, or Systems Administrator.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio.
• Proficiency in SQL Language
