We're looking for an experienced, professional and enthusiastic restaurant manager to join us in our newest location in Belém. An English speaker who wants to help cultivate a fantastic brunch experience at our café.

The Augusto Lisboa café is made by a young and dynamic team who was rewarded after only three years of activity by the TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice, in july 2021, as the 3rd best brunch in the world.

We rule by "Better food, better mood" and our culinary offer is based on fresh and local products for our homemade dishes.

• Recruiting, onboarding and training of the staff
• Organise and supervise shifts
• Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
• Organise staff meals and events

Customer management / Service quality
• Deliver superior service and maximise customer satisfaction
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints on social media and reviews
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints at the café
•... Manage the restaurant's good image and suggest ways to improve it
• Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices

Restaurant operations
• Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
• Make improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant.
• Regularly review product quality and research new providers
• Estimate future needs for goods, cleaning products, furniture, etc.
• Overseeing stock levels and ordering supplies.
• Benchmark providers and negotiate prices
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
• Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
• Manage relationships with service providers and follow up on the service execution and quality

• Manage the online presence on Tripadvisor and Google maps.
• Online marketing (Google and Instagram ads)
• Manage press relations and influencers
• Maintain and update the website
• Prepare social media postsManage the human resources of the restaurant

Experience Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role
• Proven customer service experience as a manager
• Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge
• Familiarity with restaurant management software, like Winrest
