Responsible for the complete concept, design, development, analysis and documentation of mechanical devices and/or systems with mechanical parts for new and existing products. Design, develop, modify and evaluate the mechanical/electromechanical components of new products/systems. Conducts product testing and creates models and prototypes. Investigates problems with machinery and implements... solutions. Designs and analyzes mechanical systems, equipment and packages. Conducts feasibility studies, Gage R&R, time studies, and tests new and modified designs. Directs support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication. Provides information to drafting for packaging documentation.

• Performs work assignments where several of the engineering fields are required to achieve results
• Able to integrate work with other projects and/or existing products
• Advocates for and performs approved methods and practices
• May work with other technical/manufacturing resources to achieve objectives
• Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

· Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited university preferred

· 2+ years of related experience

· Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (5S, SW, PSP, SMED, VRK, OEE, TPM, etc.) a plus

· Proven problem solving aptitude using various tools and techniques

· Leadership experience within a team, project, or job

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing work and delivering results

· Comfortable working problems of moderate scope where data analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors

· SolidWorks and/or Pro Engineer (ProE) experience a plus

· Demonstrated ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings required

· Experience working in a metric/goal-driven environment

· Hands-on approach/experience with manufacturing processes preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills; effectively able to present information and respond to feedback at any level within the global organization

Everett, WA: The salary range for this position is $72,450 - $134,550

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
