CAMPBELL HEALTH - EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Campbell Health is seeking Licensed Psychologists, Master’s Level Social Worker’s (MSW), or Master’s Level Licensed Counselling Therapists (LCT-C, LCT) to join our team.

Positions Available.

Full-Time Hybrid: Hybrid Position where the successful candidate will deliver evidence-based psychotherapy virtually, and in-office (385 Pleasant St. Miramichi NB). Applicants must be able to work 1-2 days/evenings in the office each week. Average 16-20 clients per week.

Part-Time Remote: Remote position where the successful candidate will deliver evidence-based psychotherapy virtually. Applicants must average a minimum of 7 clients per-week. Evening availability is a strong asset.

Part-Time In-Office: In office position where the successful candidate will deliver evidence based psychotherapy in-office. Applicants must average a minimum of 7 clients per week. Must have some evening availability.

Licensing/Education Requirements.

Psychologist: Must... be licensed, and in good standing with the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick (CPNB). Both Doctorate Level (Ph. D/PsyD) and Master’s Level candidates will be considered so long as they meet license requirements.

Social Worker: Must have completed a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW), and hold significant experience in mental health service delivery. Social workers who have completed a BSW only will not be considered for these positions.

Licensed Counselling Therapist: Must have completed a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology, and currently registered and in good standing with the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick (LCT-C, LCT).

Skills and Qualifications. The successful candidate must demonstrate:
• The ability to deliver evidence-based psychotherapy services, particularly Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and/or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and/or Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Family Systems Therapy, or other evidence-based methods.
• Strong knowledge, conceptualization and application of evidence-based treatment for trauma (including PTSD, complex trauma, intergenerational trauma and co-morbid difficulties and diagnoses).
• Must demonstrate the ability to work cross-culturally, with sound clinical judgment and ability to create culturally sensitive treatment plans.
• Strong knowledge, conceptualization and application of evidence-based treatment of mood and anxiety disorders.
• Ability to build strong rapport with clients, and complete interventions virtually, and in-clinic.
• Competency with technology (i.e. electronic charting, electronic appointments etc.)
• Ability to work with teenagers and adults.
• Ability to work with couples and/or children is a strong asset.
• Strong ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
• Sound knowledge, and adherence to ethical principles of governing professional body.
• Willingness to participate in bi-weekly supervision with colleagues.
• Formal training and clinical experience in adult mental health.
• Demonstrated experience in formulating and implementing treatment plans.
• Competencies in French languages are an asset.
• Experience with assessment of police, veterans and/or Canadian forces members with operational stress injuries including anxiety, mood, and substance use is an asset.

Role and Responsibility

The successful candidate will collaborate with other members of the team while providing assessment, diagnosis (if appropriate), consultation, and psychotherapy. The ability to conduct evidence-based individual psychotherapy treatment is required. As well, the successful candidates will be required to work collaboratively with family physicians, psychiatrists, occupational therapists and other service providers and community agencies in the context of providing care when necessary.

The successful candidate will be required to participate in peer supervision which takes place bi-weekly, which focuses on both personal and professional development, and adherence to ethical standards in patient care.

Employment Details
• The successful candidate will have the flexibility to set their schedule within certain parameters.
• Willingness to work evenings is a valuable asset.
• The successful candidate will have full administrative support, meaning Campbell Health administrative assistants are responsible for taking all patient payments, coordinating appointments, phone calls etc. The successful candidate will be focusing on clinical work and clinical consultation only.
• Any remote/hybrid candidates must have reliable and secure internet access and access to a home office or confidential space appropriate for conducting psychotherapy services.

Start Date

Rolling start dates; as soon as possible.

Compensation.
• Compensation is on a per-patient basis, and to be negotiated based on experience qualifications and type of license held.
• Health and Dental Benefits are available for Full-Time employees.
