About the role

Vida Glow is seeking a proactive and dynamic Account Manager to join our UK team. Working closely with the Global Director of Sales and UK Sales Manager, this role is responsible for revenue growth in the UK Wholesale business and owning the relationship/plan/results for our key customers across all retail distribution channels. Retail distribution channels include Pharmacy, Department... Stores, Specialty Beauty, Spa & Salon and Travel Retail.

The right candidate will have a passion for Beauty and Wellness, business growth and development and will be goal orientated, focused on delivering targets in a competitive retail landscape. Under the management and leadership of the UK Sales Manager, this role will identify growth opportunities, manage day-to-day correspondence and develop/execute plans with new/existing retail accounts. The UK Account Manager will also be responsible for seeking new business opportunities through new customers and growth in existing customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Accountable for driving the sales revenue for the UK in retail channels including Department Stores, Specialty Beauty, Spa & Salon and Travel Retail.
• Work with retail partners to drive sell-through at store level by maximising and improving brand space & location, execution and stock management. Priority accounts will include Harrods, Selfridges, Sephora, Harvey Nichols and Fenwicks.
• Maximise sales through account management, training and trade marketing.
• Plan and execute retail events and activations.
• Work with the UK Sales Manager to set KPI objectives for sales regions and divisions.
• Analyse data to determine trends and suggest strategies for driving performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and retail partners to create and execute bespoke strategies.
• Work with Sales Coordinator to ensure accurate records of customer data and availability of product.

Product Knowledge and Education
• Deliver engaging brand education in-store and virtually as required.
• Engage and educate potential clients and retailers on Vida Glow’s products and innovative position in the market.

Relationship Management
• Work with retail partners to accelerate their performance.
• Ensure all partner contact is managed and CRM system is utilised.
• Cultivate strong working relationships and lead negotiations with retailers.
• Understand your customers and develop tools and ideas to help them manage their needs.

Retail Operations and In-Store Support
• Establish and maintain consistent visual merchandising standards across territory and ensure it is in line with brand guidelines.
• Ensure stores / business partners comply with policies, legal and ethical standards.
• Support retail activations, pop-up’s and product tastings in market.

Required Knowledge and Experience
• Proven sales experience using structured selling and data analysis.
• Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
• Experience and skill around forecasting, territory management, customer facing sales.
• High sales, negotiation, influencing and merchant skills.
• Have demonstrated efficiency and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Certification in Marketing, Sales or relevant field is a bonus.
• Ability to travel as required 80:20 Field:Office based
