• Project Planning

Creates detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and dependencies, utilizing agile methodologies such as Scrum, or waterfall if appropriate

Collaborates with stakeholders to understand the project requirements to be able to plan effectively and to define project metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and success criteria.

Creates a detailed Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and/or user stories to decompose project tasks into manageable components.

Identifies potential risks and uncertainties that may impact the project and prepares contingency plans and alternative approaches to avoid possible disruptions or deviations from the project.
• Project Execution

Determines resource requirements including personnel, equipment and budget and allocates them effectively to support project activities and meet project goals.

Coordinates and assigns tasks to team members, ensuring clear understanding or responsibilities... timelines and deliverables.

Coordinates daily stand-up meetings to monitor progress, identify obstacles, and adjust plans as needed.

Implements change control procedures to manage changes to project scope, requirements and deliverables.

Identifies and manages dependencies between project tasks and activities, and among different projects, coordinating these dependencies effectively to avoid or minimize delays and optimize project progress.

Addresses project issues and obstacles promptly to mitigate risks and minimize disruptions to the project progress.
• Quality Assurance

Defines quality standards and metrics for project deliverables and establishes quality assurance processes and checkpoints throughout the project lifecycle.

Conducts regular reviews and inspections of project deliverables to identify defects or areas for improvement.

Facilitate retrospectives to gather feedback from the team on what went well, what could be improved, and action items for future sprints

Monitors and evaluates adherence to quality standards and requirements of the project (according to budget, timeline etc.).

Collaborates with development and testing teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
• Communication and Collaboration

Establishes a comprehensive communication plan including regular updates, progress reports and issue resolutions and mechanisms to facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders.

Collaborates with all stakeholders ensuring that they are engaged and regularly updated about the project, addressing their concerns (if any) effectively and coordinating activities to achieve the common project goals.

Initiates knowledge-sharing and learning within the team, across projects, or within the organization to exchange best practices, lessons learned and give feedback to each other.
• Documentation

Maintains comprehensive project documentation including project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers issue logs, meeting minutes and other relevant documents to ensure transparency and accountability.

Provides regular performance reports to immediate superior, detailing the team's performance for each sprint/project, including progress against sprint/project goals, key accomplishments, challenges encountered, and areas for improvement.

Documents lessons learned and best practices identified throughout the project lifecycle to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement on succeeding projects.
• Ad Hoc Projects and Additional Tasks

Participates in special projects as needed by the company.

Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
