The company

WindShape develops an indoor weather simulation technology for drone testing and certification, that offers controllable, accurate and repeatable flight conditions. Our innovative solution features a unique wind generator system capable of generating an infinite variety of wind profiles thanks to thousands of fans.

Our objective is to improve the industry’s current testing and certification capabilities to allow for autonomous and scalable drone applications in the upcoming years.

WindShape is a growing technology company (10 employees in 2022) with headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, a production facility near Lausanne, Switzerland, and a US office an drone test facility in development in Syracuse, New York, USA.

Job brief

We are looking for a Sales Engineer who will be based at WindShape headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. As a Sales Engineer, your will be overseeing the sales processes from prospection to closing deals internationally, and you will be involved in... the transformation of the company sales structure.

About the position
• Office location: Geneva, Switzerland
• Report to: C-level executives
• Weekly work time: Full Time
• Travel time: 5-10%

• Generating high-quality sales leads, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries
• Setting and achieving sales goals and quotas
• Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain our company's products and services to customers
• Maintaining extensive knowledge of the products
• Discussing equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineers
• Collaborating with our distributors
• Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers
• Training other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• Fluent in English and French
• Experience in sales of technological products or services
• Strong communication, customer service, and sales skills
• Ability to identify customer values
• Excellent technical and problem-solving skills
• Good leadership and team working skills
• Willingness to continue your sales and engineering education
