Role Summary

We’ve teamed up with Woolworths Group, Australia’s largest retailer, to launch a new vertical, wiqConsumer, in Australia and New Zealand. This is a game-changing move that will revolutionise how insights are used for deeper levels of collaboration and value creation between Woolworths and its Trade Partners (suppliers). The Analytics Executive Manager will be accountable for the delivery of analytics services to Trade Partners, people management of the wiqConsumer analytics teams and... delivery of the wiqConsumer Analytics strategy.

The team comprises close to 30 analysts that work on bespoke analytics solutions that complement and extend the analytics insights that can be found in our world leading retail products. You will partner with the Client Partnership team to deliver analytics solutions that help clients answer business questions on category management, promotional activity, shopper behaviour, value chain, operations, brand and marketing activation.

The Analytics Executive Manager plays a key role in the development of best-in-class methodologies and accelerators to be adopted by all Quantium Consumer teams globally. Role Responsibilities
• Deliver against Trade Partners commitments and Revenue growth targets
• Project Management including delivery of projects on time and on budget
• Managing the BAU briefs work with adherence to SLAs
• Work with direct reports (Analytics Leads) to develop world-class analytics solutions for consumer teams globally, from ideation to delivery
• Provide expert advice to key stakeholders on the technical aspects of our consulting offerings and the commercial impacts of potential technical decisions
• Act as an escalation point for stakeholders across the business for questions pertaining to the analytics underpinning our Consumer offerings
• People and capability management, including setting performance objectives across the team, ongoing feedback, performance reviews and career development plans for direct reports, as well as participation in recruitment activities
• Grow Quantium’s reputation for excellence in analytics delivery through a balance of capability development in people, input into quality control and best practice processes, and direct contribution to wiqConsumer analytical solutions
• Contribute to the Analytics Community, a program encompassing knowledge sharing, formal training, social events, systems and processes to increase satisfaction and retention among Quantium analytics staff
• Operate in a matrix structure and work with stakeholders at all levels including Executive and Group Executive

Experience And Education
• Qualifications: tertiary degree in a technical discipline, e.g. statistics, actuarial studies, engineering, machine learning / data science. 
• 10+ years’ experience with at least 5 years in a senior technical analytics role; 
• Deep analytical experience building solutions or products leveraging the power of retail transaction data; 
• Demonstrable experience working with clients and delivering measurable client value 
• Demonstrable experience leading analysts in cross-disciplinary teams to deliver an analytics-driven outcome; 
• Sharp problem-solving skills with experience partnering with clients and stakeholders to solve complex commercial problems using a data driven approach; 
• Stakeholder management experience including having worked with senior leadership teams, middle managers, and individual contributors.
