An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and highly motivated Accounts Semi-Senior to join our team.

The role is part of our client services team concentrating mainly on... compliance work for sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Ensure exceptional client care standards are maintained.
• Maintain regular meetings with the UK offices.

Roles and Expectations:
• Preparing draft accounts for the review of a manager from source documents which may be from incomplete records or a balanced computerised trial balance.
• Undertaker larger Limited company accounts with relevant support
• Clear routine queries with the client.
• Prepare tax computation based on the draft accounts.
• Finalising figures for the manager and preparing paperwork for the client to approve.
• Dealing with ad hoc client queries
• Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT Returns for clients using bridging software.
• Providing general support to both clients and directors.
• Assist/support trainees with their queries and development
• Have a real awareness of the time spent on jobs and the importance of achieving budgeted hours.

Required competencies:
• You will have worked within and accountancy firm during your training and be passionate about using your skills to support clients.

Experience in the following:
• FRS102
• One Man Band companies
• Charities

Software requirements:
• Sage
• Xero
• Xero Practice Manager
• QuickBooks
• FYI Docs
• MyWorkPapers
