The Operations Support Specialist (OSS) is responsible for all customer facing enquiries and concerns that come through our chat service. The OSS will answer questions, address concerns, and provide resolutions for issues. They will report any escalations and complaints to the relevant teams and ensure outcomes are communicated back to the members / applicants.
• Responsible for receiving, answering, and actioning all chat inquiries that come from our members and applicants.
• Able to multitask and accurately service multiple chats simultaneously.
• Able to identify basic concerns and issues and provide solutions and acceptable outcomes.
• Able to work with different departments to confirm accurate responses and resolutions to unique and unfamiliar concerns.
• Have strong work ethic, be self-motivated with an attitude to overcome challenges and obstacles.
• Be resilient and have experience working in an early stage, technology centric, dynamic and rapid growth environment.
• Enhance... strategies for more efficient incident handling with data analytics.
• Typing in data provided directly by members
• Review data for errors or redundancies, make corrections, and check output
• Experience in chat support functions is a plus.
• 2-3 years of BPO related experience, preferably in customer service and chat support
• Good background in finance and fintech is a plus.
• Good interpersonal, verbal, and written English communication skills.
• Be self-motivated and driven to be successful but also work effectively in team environment.
• Ability to travel and deal with remote teams and colleagues working in different time zones.
• Comfortable working hands-on in a start-up type environment.
