How you will contribute:

You ensure quality in the factory and are responsible for meeting quality targets. You are fully responsible for the people, machinery and the identification and elimination of quality losses and problems in the department. You grow your team’s capabilities and coordinates departmental activities in accordance with corporate standards, local requirements and ISO standards. In this role, you report directly to the plant manager with dotted line responsibility to corporate quality.

Key responsibilities and scope:
• Build and maintain a strong quality and food safety environment - delivering world class quality results;
• Enforce plant staff on quality and food safety subjects by setting up... plans and procedures for achieving objectives;
• Organize department activities – plans budget, monitors it execution;
• Select, train, motivate department staff and supports it development. Provide leadership and expertise in the resolution of all quality / food safety related incidents.
• Initiate and implement plant activities for Continuous Improvement, 6 Sigma and Lean manufacturing strategies and projects implementation.

Requirements:
• Relevant experience (operations, quality and/or R&D);
• Project management and managing multiple priorities;
• Commercial strategy process, product/package development process, food safety, plant commercialization, ingredient and package technology and training and coaching technical material;
• Communicating effectively and leading cross-functional teams;
• Working with external manufacturing suppliers to ensure compliance to our policies and procedures and technical vendors to support compliance;
• Working with customers on quality related issues;
• Fluent in Lithuanian.

Salary – from 4500 euro/monthly (gross) plus yearly bonus. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland .
