Your Role at Cabot

Senior HR Operations Specialist in Riga, Latvia to provide direct support to the North America and EMEA HR Operations as part of a centralized function to handle a variety of HR-related transactions. This role involves handling details of a highly confidential nature, providing exceptional customer service services as the first point of contact for HR, processing transactions and requests timely and with accuracy, and contributing to HR Operations process improvement initiatives.

How You Will Make An Impact
• Lead special projects and process improvement initiatives on the HR Operations team including annual roadmap deliverables
• Participate in global HR projects
• Responsible for handling day-to-day administrative tasks including; background check initiation and invoice processing, SOX compliance reports, candidate expense reimbursements, compliance training adherence and reporting, and I-9 compliance
• Enter employee lifecycle activities and master data changes... in the HR system in a timely and accurate manner.
• Partner with payroll to ensure all employee changes are accurately processed in the bi-weekly Payroll.
• Communicate effectively with Field HR, Benefits, and other HR team members to represent HR Operations as a valued and trusted partner.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures, proactively ensure all HR Services documentation is up to date.
• Serve as a resource for HRIS by handling questions and helping to resolve and/or escalate issues as necessary.
• Contribute to team meetings, offer feedback on workload, and provide suggestions to streamline activities within the team.
• Respond to U.S. and Canada employment verifications
• Maintain employee files in compliance with legal requirements.
• Encourage a positive work environment and present a “can-do” attitude, willing to jump in and help where needed.

What You Will Bring To Cabot
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years’ experience.
• Fluent in English with another European language advantageous.
• Knowledge of working with a SaaS HR system advantageous, Workday preferred.
• Strong track record in HR Operations or Generalist role in a global organization.
• Advanced working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Organized multi-tasker who can work in fast-paced environment and efficiently prioritize competing demands.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to combine attention to detail with big picture perspective.
• Demonstrates good judgment and superior customer service.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Demonstrated initiative, judgment and maturity, deals with confidential information with the utmost discretion, respect, and care.

Additional Information
• Salary: 1650 - 1800 EUR GROSS.
• Working Hours: 9:00 - 17:30.
• Permanent contract.
• Monthly allowance and yearly bonus.

• Hybrid work schedule (3 days on site and 2 days work from home
