Vulcain Engineering is looking for an Electromechanical engineer to join its consulting team.

As an Electromechanical engineer, you will support our clients on diverse projects depending on your field of expertise related to mechanics, electricity, automation, project engineering. You will work on diversified and challenging projects by taking part in the entire engineering project cycle, but we will also support your growth and development through a specific follow-up from one of our Business Manager and the possibility to benefit from specific trainings related to your career objectives.

WHAT KIND OF MISSIONS YOU WOULD HAVE TO WORK ON:
• You will take part in projects of either project engineering or product development.
• Design electromechanical parts (mechanical, electronic, electromechanical or electrotechnical)
• Numerical modelling for all mechanical equipment
• Carry out technical tests on prototypes.
• Write specifications and conduct a technology watch.
• Write the... specifications for control, assembly and manufacturing equipment.
• Establish and validate manufacturing processes/feasibility studies/validation and qualification plans.
• Guarantee the choice of technical solutions to improve the process and/or reduce costs
• Supervise the method technicians and technical teams in the various areas
• Take charge of the development and deployment of technical solutions for the product, during the development and industrialisation phase.
• You will take part in project engineering.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR :
• A master’s degree in electromechanical engineering.
• People who have experience of working for at least 2 years in Mechanical, Electrical or automation disciplines.
• People with demonstrable skills and problem solving.
• You are trilingual in Dutch, French and English, or you are bilingual with Dutch or French.
• Active listening and communication to ensure tasks are well understood and communicated to management thereby building strong work relationships and trust within teams.
• Critical thinking using an open mind to analyse, interpret and explain problems and issues.
• You are dynamic and flexible, also in terms of geographical mobility.
