At Chubb Digital EMEA, we’re seeking a talented UI/UX designer to shape the visual impact of our websites, solutions, and partner sales materials. As a nimble and forward-thinking designer, you’ll ideate and create a variety of design assets under tight deadlines. Your work will include web designs, functional mockups, mobile app mockups, sales visuals, compelling presentations, and other art materials. By doing so, you’ll enable Chubb to engage meaningfully in relevant interactions with our partners.

What You’ll Do:
• Conceptualizing and Designing: You’ll create mobile-first web sites and mobile app experiences across various front-end styles, either from scratch or by integrating insurance sales journeys into different looks and brands.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business development personnel to create visual prototypes and other insurance propositions for presentation to partners. Collaborate with web developers, graphic designers, and content strategists to refine and execute designs that meet goals and brand standards.
• Front-End Development: Understand that your designs will be brought to life using established front-end programming abilities (HTML5, CSS3/Sass, or JavaScript). Implement accessible web code with a focus on accessibility.
• User Research and Testing: Conduct user research and usability testing to identify pain points and enhance user interfaces. Perform online tests to define UX/UI requirements and execute formal user acceptance testing.
• Marketing Assets: Manage and deliver email marketing campaigns and other digital assets (such as banners and ads).
• Alignment with Brand Goals: Collaborate with the marketing team and other departments to align UI/UX design strategies with overall brand and marketing objectives, ensuring a cohesive user experience across touchpoints.
• Stay Updated: Keep up with emerging design trends and industry best practices, providing recommendations for customer-focused solutions.

What We Are Looking For:
• Education and Experience:
• BA/BS or BFA Degree: We value candidates with a background in art, design, video communications, or related disciplines. Additional education is always welcome.
• 4+ Years of Relevant Experience: Alternatively, a combination of education and experience that demonstrates your expertise in the field.
• User-Centric Skills:
• User Research and Usability Testing: You should have hands-on experience conducting user research and usability testing. Transforming insights into actionable design improvements is a key part of this role.
• Strong Portfolio: Showcase your past work experience through a robust portfolio. Highlight user-centered design solutions that resonate with our audience.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Website Design and Prototyping Tools: Proficiency in tools used for website design and prototyping is essential, Figma, Invision, Illustrator, Photoshop. Show us your ability to translate ideas into interactive designs.
• Front-End Development: A solid understanding of front-end development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, will be advantageous.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Excellent Communication Skills: You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. Effective communication is crucial for creating a seamless user experience.
• International Experience: Experience operating in diverse cultural contexts is a plus. Operating nimbly within a large, matrixed organization and communicating across geographies adds value.
