Trusted StaffeSeeks Physical Therapist for Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Facility in Peabody, MA

Trusted Staffeis partnering with a rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility in Peabody, MA to find a dedicated and results-oriented Physical Therapist (PT). This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate PT to play a key role in helping patients regain their functional mobility and improve... their quality of life.

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess patients' strengths, weaknesses, and functional limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address each patient's specific needs and goals, focusing on improving mobility, strength, coordination, and balance.
• Utilize a variety of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to achieve treatment goals.
• Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention strategies, and self-care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nurses, physicians, occupational therapists, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Document treatment progress in patients' medical records and participate in care conferences.
• Maintain a safe and patient-centered treatment environment.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay up-to-date on current physical therapy practices.

• Minimum Requirements:
• Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (PT) from an accredited program.
• Valid Physical Therapist License in the state of Massachusetts.
• Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility setting (preferred).
• Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to document effectively in medical records.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience treating patients with a variety of diagnoses, including orthopedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques.
• Experience using therapeutic exercise equipment and modalities.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
