Job Description:

Pune Institute of Business Management (PIBM) is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual for the position of Assistant Professor in the Marketing Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in Market Research, Business Research Methods, B2B Marketing, Retail Marketing / Retail Operations, and Digital Marketing. The Assistant Professor will contribute to the academic and research activities of the institution and provide mentorship and guidance to students pursuing marketing specializations.

Responsibilities:
• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Market Research, Business Research Methods, B2B Marketing, Retail Marketing / Retail Operations, and Digital Marketing.
• Develop and deliver course content that reflects current industry trends, best practices, and theoretical frameworks.
•... Engage students in active learning through lectures, case studies, group discussions, and practical exercises.
• Provide academic advisement, mentorship, and career guidance to students pursuing marketing specializations.
• Contribute to curriculum development, course design, and assessment activities to enhance the quality of the marketing program.
• Conduct research in the field of marketing with a focus on Market Research, Business Research Methods, B2B Marketing, Retail Marketing / Retail Operations, and Digital Marketing.
• Publish research findings in reputable academic journals and present research at conferences and seminars.
• Participate in departmental meetings, faculty development programs, and academic committees to support institutional goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with industry partners, professional organizations, and community stakeholders to facilitate internships, projects, and guest lectures.
• Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies in marketing and integrate them into teaching and research activities.

Qualifications:
• A Ph.D. degree in Marketing or a related field from a recognized institution.
• A strong academic background with expertise in Market Research, Business Research Methods, B2B Marketing, Retail Marketing / Retail Operations, and Digital Marketing.
• Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level, preferably in a business school or management institute.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality research and publish in reputable academic journals.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire students in a classroom setting.
• Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for teaching, research, and administrative tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
